I’m a creature of habit. I’m also inherently lazy, so unless the habit is established I’m not going to probably do it.
When it comes to investing for the future (not…retirement, I’ll talk about the redefinition of retirement later), I have a simple plan. At the beginning of the year, in the first week, I look at a list of companies I’ve noticed in the last year (mainly, in stuff I’ve bought). It is at that time that whatever money I have saved for my personal stock portfolio is spent the companies from my list that pass a set of simple screens (For instance, has their management changed recently.. it is tough to know what will happen with new management as they bring new changes.)
We often take sick days to take care of mutiple doctors appointments. So at coffeecents, we take a few days to take care of our fiscal health as well.
